Iron Golem spawner is the best passive income farm on DonutSMP. Pays itself off in hours, runs forever, prints 8-15M coins/hour AFK. Here's the optimal setup.
Other spawners (Wither Skeleton, Blaze) have higher per-drop value but lower spawn rate or harder farming requirements.
Pick a chunk that's not your main base. Sky height (Y=200+) prevents most natural mob spawns interfering.
Center of the room, on a brick block 3 blocks above the floor. The spawner needs a 9×9 area to spawn mobs around it.
Place 4-6 villagers on a separate platform above the spawner. Give each a bed + workstation. They'll see the "scary zombie" and panic, triggering Iron Golem spawns.
